Before taking this course, it is highly recommended that students complete MS-4005: Craft Effective Prompts for Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365.

1: Introduction to Microsoft Copilot for Word

  • Write strong prompts. Create a document. Edit a Document
  • Edit a document

2: Advanced Document Creation and Editing

  • Create a document from multiple documents.
  • Change the tone of a document. Create clarity for selected sentences.
  • Add suggested photos to a document

3: Formatting and Design with Copilot

  • Add an Executive summary to the front of the document
  • Add an FAQ to the end of a document
  • Create a table and graph.
  • Format using a previous document.

4: Collaboration and Review

  • Write a prompt using the Magic Formula in the copilot sidebar to search for gaps in content.
  • Conduct research using a prompt that follows the Magic Formula.
